The Poem IS Political
"It is difficult/to get the news from poems/yet men die miserably every day/for lack/of what is found there."-William Carlos Williams. While some writers see art as an escape from politics and the news cycle, others embrace the political. Three poets explore the relationship between politics and poetry.
